About Me

Hi.
My name is Kevin. As of this writing, I work for a home electronics company in New Hampshire. I have been married (to the same woman) for 17 years and have 3 extremely smart daughters, 16, 14, and 10, 3 cats, 2 minivans and one mortgage. I started this site when I was unemployed and it largely serves as an archive for old journal entries and a place for new photos and writings. My current blog "Chilling Tales from a Hideuously Average Life" is where my curent musings can be found.

Why am I doing this?

I have always been the type of person who needed reasons. I have also always been pretty good at stringing words together. The problem was, I needed a reason to string the words together. If I was in a writing class, I would have deadlines and assignments to finish, good reasons to write. But when I got out of school (back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth), reasons to write became harder to find. I mean, I didn't think I would ever make it as a writer, even though that thought always kind of lurked in the back corners of my mind. I needed a reason or a push to switch on that creative part of my brain and as I got older, it took a progressively bigger push to get that rolling again. A decade passed with me hardly using my creative writing circuit, and unfortunately, I got a huge push (if you want to know what happened, read this) and in a sense, I am still using that momentum. But reasons to write are still hard to come by, so I decided to start keeping a journal online. Hopefully, I will be able to keep it going and maybe actually DO something with my writing.

And THAT, anonymous reader, is all I'm willing to share with you at this point. Mmmmmmm-Kay?
