One of the most compelling sites on the Web. I visit every day, sometimes more than once. Excellent writing from actor turned writer and Web God, Wil Wheaton. An interesting blog. Tara and Dave offer a refreshing insight into their daily lives. They seem like the kind of people you'd want to live next door. Andy Ihnatko's Colossal Waste of Bandwidth "Andy Ihnatko is a Boston-based geek and writer who works for anyone foolish enough to pay him..." His blog, "Yellowtext" is written with just the right amount of cynical wit. Like a really tart lemonade, except this one hits you on the inside of the skull instead of the back of the throat. His Annual Oscar Blog-cast rocks. An online community where you can see postings from thoughtful to bizarre. Important tidbit of info: the abbreviation NSFW means NOT SAFE FOR WORK. Just in case anyone was wondering. Irony Central-The Story About the Baby OK, not for any parent or future parent who might be overly sensitive (if a picture of a smiling baby laying on a broiler pan surrounded by veggies offends you, you might want to avoid this site). Personally, I think Jeff Vogel is one of the funniest writers in the world. I had to stop reading it at work because I would laugh out loud... hard. You've
seen those "Inspriational" posters in the office, right? WIth
big colorful images and words like "Teamwork", and "Sacrifice".
Well, these are like that, except the words are from the real world. Words
like "Indifference" and "Blame". There's actually 2 sites here: The AndyCo corporate site (Their slogan "Everything to Everybody" should give you some idea what to expect from this hilarious site) and WebFromage the "real" Andy's blog site. Both are worth a read. He is THE best fantasy author on the planet. Ever. His "Song of Ice & Fire" series is the most amazing thing I've ever read. I was always a "die hard" Tolkein fan. I always considered Tolkein the best, the Godfather, of modern Fantasy. Martin is better. His writing puts you in the story. If you don't believe me, read the first few pages of the prologue to "A Game of Thrones" and if you don't actually FEEL your body temperature drop, I'll eat my hat.

This is my business site. If you read the "About Me" page, you may have noticed the "mobile DJ" line. This site explains that. And hey, if you live in eastern New England and you need a good DJ... My friend Matt's DJ site. If the layout or the writing or even the NAME seems familiar, it's because I designed it and wrote much of the copy. We are more like partners than competitors. And by the way... he is awesome (taught him everything he knows! ;-) My friend Marc is multi-talented. Plays several instruments, though his degree (yes, I said degree) is in trumpet. He also plays keyboards, drums and guitars and writes, performs, records and produces his own digital music. Marc's links page is fun and eclectic. My friend Kristen's site. She's "...got a cello, and she's not afraid to use it..." Kristen's an amazing cellist who is breaking new ground on what the instrument should sound like. You should see her live- She ain't your grandmother's cellist! Song samples are available on her site and you can even buy her CD. "Sheltering Pines Press is a small press publisher of poetry chapbooks, anthologies, and a thrice-yearly poetry journal..." Annie Farnsworth, in addition to running this enterprise and being a wife and mother (as if all that weren't enough), also wirtes amazing poetry. She also reads her stuff out loud... in front of people... live... really. I can't even imagine doing that. Fun StuffI have no idea why this amuses me so much. It. Just. Does.
I love this site, my really hip and ultra-techie friends love it, my kids love it. It's that good. Broad based appeal, fun characters, cool animations, no pop-ups or ads of any kind. These guys ROCK! Be sure to check out Strong Bad's Emails.
